I’ve cut a serpentine path through music since my career began with two cassette decks at my dad’s bar. From hip-hop to hard house to deep, progressive, tech house, I’ve never stayed stagnant. Nowadays, I play mainly deep and tech house. There’s something about that smooth bass-y bottom groove that pulses throughout your whole body that just feels so right. And all the time and energy put into my set pays off when I see love for the music on the dance floor.

What began as a 19-year-old with a crate of vinyl in his cousin’s basement is now a bonafide DJ of the Digital Age. The technology may have changed, but the rush of playing those first shows and parties has never worn off. Some people never find their passion. I’m truly grateful that I have. Like they say in the movie Groove, it's all about the nod. The right song dropped at the right time, someone looks over and gives you the nod. You know you’ve just made someone’s night. You can't ask for a better feeling of connection.

That's why I DJ.

To those who’ve inspired me -- John Bishop, Kimball Collins, Carl Cox, Sasha, Digweed, Deep Dish, Dave Seamen, PVD, Mark Knight, Anthony Attalla and Green Velvet -- Thank you.
